hubris. is a post-rock band from Fribourg, Switzerland. Formed in 2014, the instrumental quartet is known for its unique style, which blends experimental post-rock with an electronica atmosphere and elements of the metal scene.

They draw inspiration from bands such as Woodkid, This Will Destroy You, and Jon Hopkins, among others. With a style that evokes introspection, hubris. is known for the length of its compositions, which allow a range of evolving emotions to unfold through a balance of softness and power. The band evokes emotions in its audience through a diverse musical landscape that blends poetic ambiance with raw energy.

They have released four albums to date: *Emersion* (2015), *Apocryphal Gravity* (2017), *Metempsychosis* (2020), *The One Above* (2023), and will release their fifth album, *White Shores*, on September 10, 2026.

All four albums were critically acclaimed and extremely well-received by their fanbase, amassing several million views and streams combined. Their 2020 album *Metempsychosis* was voted “Best Post-Rock Album of the Year” by the YouTube channel *Wherepostrockdwells*.
