NOPLACE TRIO is an improvisational trio featuring Aidan Baker (Nadja) on guitar, Simon Goff (Molecular, Bee & Flower) on violin/electronics, & Thor Harris (Swans, Shearwater, Xiu Xiu) on drums/percussion. The group formed in 2017 to record their debut album for Gizeh Records, which explores minimal ambient rock music, drawing on influences from post-rock, slowcore, jazz, electronic music, and krautrock. Their second album „The Bit“ was released in the autumn of 2020, also on Gizeh Records. They are currently working on a third album.
