ABBY
ABBY (Filou, Lorenzo, Henne,Tilly) kommen aus Berlin und vereinen die Welten der elektronischen und klassischen Musik. Im Januar 2011 erschien ihre Debut EP „Welcome Home“, die nationale Radioplays und unzählige Konzerte in Deutschland, Frankreich, Island, Luxemburg, der Schweiz und schließlich auch in England zur Folge hatte.
ABBY spielten bereits als Support für Trail Of Dead, Bodi Bill, The Virgins, Everything Everything, Get Well Soon und The Kilians und gastierten auf solch renommierten Festivals wie Iceland Airwaves, MIDEM, Dockville, Appletree Garden und dem Modular Festival. Den Sommer 2011 verbrachte die Band in den Londoner Kensaltownstudios, um gemeinsam mit dem schwedischen Produzenten Andreas Olsson ihr Debütalbum zu beginnen.
2012 betrat die Band zum ersten mal amerikanischen Boden und spielten auf dem SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Daraufhin folgten zwei weitere Konzerte in New York (Arlene’s Grocery) und Los Angeles (Bootleg Theatre). Unmittelbar darauf unterschrieb die Band bei dem Major Verlag BMG/Chrysalis. Nach einem guten Festivalsommer und ihrer ersten ausverkauften Show in London folgte nun auch ein Vertrag bei dem Major Label Universal Music, mit deren Unterstützung ABBY’s Debütalbum „Friends & Enemies“ im Frühjahr 2013 erscheinen wird.

THE GECKO
THE GECKO describe their music as a fusion of 2001 Space Odyssey and Trainspotting. They write intelligent, energetic synth and guitar driven anthems that sound like they were made for stadiums. This British/German collaboration is based in Berlin and when not on tour, they’re collecting material for their debut LP and planning world domination.
In 2008 The Gecko evolved into the international animal it is today with: Espin Bowder (vocals), Carsten Brocker (synths), Samuel Halscheidt (guitar) and Pascal Gemmer (drums). In 2009 their first EP entitled Failure is Not an Option – mixed and fine-tuned by the Strokes collaborator Gordon Raphael – scored plays on radio stations locally and internationally, even though the EP was self-released.
Their latest single “All of a sudden” (summer 2012) captures the energy and motivation of a band ready to burst. A short but telling tale of a man who finally lets his creative madness out. Working with producer Johannes Saal( Super 700) and videographer Pol Ponsarnau they have made a classic performance video and have uncovered the slick but eccentric band within.
