Synthesizer-based project of Luna Blanc from Washington, D.C
Düstere, postapokalyptische Klanglandschaften, angetrieben von beißenden Electro-PopSynthielinien und Hooks in Moll, prägen den Sound von SYZYGYX, dem Namen des Soloprojekts von Luna Blanc aus Washington, DC, gegründet im Jahr 2018.
Die Musik von SYZYGYX entwickelt sich von einem Album zum nächsten, da Luna gerne mit Klängen experimentiert, unabhängig davon, welchem Genre sie zuzuordnen ist. Die Debüt-EP von SYZYGYX wurde 2018 auf Cleopatra Records veröffentlicht. Nach einigen EPs veröffentlichte sie im Oktober 2019 das Album „Fading Bodies:“, das unter Negative Gain Productions (US) und Cold Transmission (EU) erschien.
Im Juni 2020 veröffentlichte sie die Single „Cold Touch“, der bald darauf ihr Album „(Im)mortal“ folgte, das im Dezember 2021 bei Cold Transmission erschien. SYZYGYX ist eine 2-köpfige Live-Show. Luna ist eine Soloproduzentin, tourt aber mit Corey, ihrem Partner im Leben und auf der Bühne. Im Laufe des Jahres 2022 tourten sie ausgiebig durch die USA, Kanada, Mittelamerika und Europa, einschließlich des legendären Wave Gotik Treffens in Leipzig/Deutschland.
SYZYGYX plant neues Material für 2023 und wird auch auf die Bühnen Europas zurückkehren.

It’s a symphony that rekindles the essence of Darkwave, captivating the hearts of goth listeners who seek solace and catharsis on the dancefloor.
Deus Ex Lumina’s enigmatic sound has earned them a dedicated following across the globe, with monthly features on renowned radio shows such as „Communion After Dark“, nearly 24 monthly listeners on Spotify and weekly appearances at goth parties that pulse with anticipation. Their music serves as a sonic sanctuary for those seeking an escape from the trials of the world.

Since 2019 Deus Ex Lumina released 20 digital singles already and is now working on his first full length debut album to be released in early 2024 on the German independent label Cold Transmission Music.
