VINYL WILLIAMS is the multi-sensory project of Los Angeles-based artist and musician Lionel Williams. Williams began making music under the alias in 2007 and has since gained a reputation for his unique blend of psychedelic pop & dream pop, as well as his maximalist 3D art & interactive worlds.

Williams’ music is characterized by its lush and immersive soundscapes, with layers of elusive instrumentation and vocals, creating dreamy and hypnotic atmospheres. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of sources, he’s leaned toward likeminded self-recording artists such as Robin Guthrie, Patrick Flagle of Women & Cindy Lee, A.R. Kane, Greg Saunier of Deerhoof, Curt Boettcher, Martin Newell of The Cleaners From Venus, and Todd Rundgren. He has also collaborated and shared the stage with artists of the same nature, like Chaz Bear of Toro y Moi, Ruban Nielson of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Morgan Delt.

In addition to his work as a musician, Williams is also a visual artist and has created artwork for his own album coversvibrant colors, futuristic architecture, and abundantly biodiverse landscapes, which all reflect his interest in harmony, hidden structures of space-time, and the divine.

Williams just released his 7th full length album “Aeterna” on August 4th 2023 on his own imprint Harmony Records, adding to the momentum of an increasingly prolific potpourri of record releases.

TIOKLU (Puzzle Pop, Strasbourg FR, playing live as duo, pronounce tee-o-klou)

For Fans Of: The Flaming Lips, Squid, Deerhoof…

Through compositions where surprises devour standards, french songwriter TIOKLU writes a new page in hypnotic music that is as much confectionery as acrobatic. Six years after his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Ominous Signs’ – that put him in the top 10 of the year 2018 according to Les Inrocks – Tioklu is back with a supercharged new concept-album: ‘The Electric Soup’ out February 23rd, 2024.

Dense and enigmatic like it’s predecessor but also more warm and embracing, this new record takes his bewitching pop even further, drawing unabashedly on cartoons, dub, and sequenced music. Dazzling, unctuous and above all invigorating!
